Royal Oak Stables provides occasional half lease/partial lease opportunities as an intermediate step before purchasing a horse. It allows the rider an opportunity to work with and build a relationship with the same horse/pony consistently. Half leasing and maintaining a steady relationship with your mount also allows you to participate successfully in County and 'A' rated shows. Much like owning your own horse but with less responsibility and less cost.
Half leasing and partial leasing requires that you pay for part of the horse/pony monthly expenses, 2-3 units/week of training for the horse and rider and a minimum of $50/mth lease fee. Half and partial leases are only available through individual owners with Royal Oak that wish to make their horse/pony available. Costs can vary depending on whether your half-leased horse is boarded in a pipe corral or stall, farriering needs, and medical care
