Riding Academy Lessons
All riding academy lessons include the use of a school horse and are subject to availability
Ages 7 and up (5 & 6 can test into the Riding Acaedmy)
- Individual Lessons: $65.00
- Lessons can be paid at the time of the lesson or billed at the end of every month.
Private lessons are 30 minutes in length and group lessons are 45 minutes to an hour. Please allow 30 mintues prior to your lesson time to tack the horse up and 30 minutes after to tack down. Due to the nature of horses lessons may also run over the time allowed. If you have certain time constraints please ask about our tack up/down service that can be done for you.
* All riders must be a member of the Rancho Riding Club to use facility. (Please inquire about our trial membership)
Pony Pal Program
Ages 6 and under (7 and 8 can qualify for the first 12 lessons)
The ROS Pony Pal Program was designed specifically for beginner children ages 4 - 8 years of age and serves as an introduction to general horsemanship. Throughout the program children will learn many needed skills such as how to lead, groom, tack, bathe, riding at the walk (with and without the saddle), horse anatomy, and safety. Some lessons throughout the program do not include riding and are intended to improve overall horsemanship skills. Long pants and closed toed shoes with a slight heel are required. Helmets are provided. This is a perfect way to find out if your child or grandchild is going to be interested in horses before having to purchase any gear and/or commit to serious lessons.
*Children Ages 6-8 typically outgrow this program in 12 to 24 sessions.
For current Rancho Riding Club members:
$50 per private lesson - Private Pony Pal lessons are 30 minutes in length. Pony Pal lessons can be scheduled individually or on a weekly basis.
For new families (non-members):
$350 for a first month starter package - This package includes up to 6 Private Pony Pal lessons to be taken within a 30 day period and a 1 month trial family membership to the Rancho Riding Club. (A $450 value)

NOTICE: All riding school lessons are billed at the end of each month.
